Engineered for precision and speed.

Accurate, consistent and repeatable measurements are critical to effective myopia management. They’re essential for early detection, personalised monitoring and evidence-based clinical decision-making.

The ZEISS MYO 200 biometer is engineered to help you identify the causes of myopia and track its progression in your patients. It quickly determines the two key drivers of myopia: the axial length (AR) and corneal radius (CR).

Get results in seconds with the high precision and accuracy ZEISS is known for. This enhanced speed makes the MYO 200 a convenient measurement tool for patients of all ages – including children.

Measurements used in myopia management.

Primary parameter: axial length.

Axial length is the key structural driver of myopia progression. It is the most clinically relevant parameter used to track the progression of myopia, assess the risk of future high myopia and associated ocular pathology, and monitor the effectiveness of myopia control interventions.

Progressive axial elongation reflects true eye growth. It’s directly linked to long-term ocular health risks, whether or not there are refractive error changes.

Role of corneal curvature in myopia management.

Corneal curvature impacts the eye’s refractive status but plays a limited role in myopia progression. After early childhood, corneal curvature remains relatively stable. It isn’t a primary driver of progressive myopia, which makes it less suitable for monitoring treatment response over time.

Its greatest clinical value lies in baseline assessment. Here, corneal curvature helps characterise the refractive components of myopia, distinguish corneal-related refractive changes from those driven by axial elongation, and support the planning and fitting of optical interventions, such as contact lenses.

  • Fast.

Measure axial length and corneal radius up to 23% faster than with the ZEISS IOLMaster 500.1

  • Precise.

    Ensure accurate monitoring with medical-level repeatability of 0.02 mm (≈ 0.05 D).2

  • Proven.

Leverage the proven ZEISS IOLMaster 500 technology from over 100 million scans performed worldwide.

Track tiny changes in eye size.

Count on trusted, gold-standard measurements for myopia management with the ZEISS MYO 200. Built on the legacy of the ZEISS IOLMaster 500, this state-of-the-art biometer leverages proven technology from over 100 million scans worldwide.

It matches the IOLMaster's precision with medical-level repeatability of 0.02 mm, accurately monitoring even minor changes in eye growth (0.02 mm ≈ 0.05 D)2 – helping you make clinical decisions with confidence.

ZEISS-patented telecentric PCI technology provides consistent, repeatable measurements across multiple sessions without requiring perfect head positioning.

Proven PCI ensures reliable results.

ZEISS MYO 200 inherits the trusted, gold-standard technology of the IOLMaster 500. Using Partial Coherence Interferometry (PCI), it measures distances in transparent ocular media such as axial length – with exceptional precision, reliability and repeatability.

PCI directs a focused light beam into the eye, where it reflects off of internal structures. The system measures the delay between reflections to accurately determine axial length, providing the precise, reproducible data needed for effective myopia management.

Telecentric keratometry: the benchmark in optical biometry.

The patented telecentric keratometry from Carl Zeiss Meditec AG is uniquely incorporated in the MYO 200 biometer, allowing for highly accurate keratometry measurements.

It maintains a constant image size regardless of small patient movements – for precise, repeatable and reliable corneal measurements, even in challenging pediatric cases.

A specialised lens system ensures that light entering the device remains parallel, making measurements distance-independent and highly repeatable.

Receive reliable results – in seconds.

Make your workflow more efficient with the MYO 200. It focuses specifically on the key parameters essential for myopia monitoring: axial length (AL) and corneal radius (CR). Faster scans reduce fixation time, streamlining the measurement process for patients of all ages.

On average, the MYO 200 completes AL and CR measurements for a single eye in just 7.5 seconds – 23% faster than the IOLMaster 500.1 This speed supports a smoother, more efficient clinical workflow without compromising precision.
